MEMBERSHIP 101: Get More from Your Chamber Membership with the Member-to-Member Discount Program

As part of its “Membership 101” series, the Santa Fe Springs Chamber of Commerce is reminding members about one of the many benefits included with their Chamber membership: the Member-to-Member Discount Program.
The program provides Chamber members with an easy way to share special offers and discounts with fellow Chamber members while also creating an opportunity to promote their business to the broader community.
Through the Chamber’s Member Information Center (MIC), members can browse discounts and special offers from other Chamber members and take advantage of exclusive savings on products and services. Members can also create their own offers, giving fellow Chamber members an incentive to do business with them.
But the benefits don’t stop there. The MIC also gives members the ability to make their discounts and special offers available directly to the public, providing another way to promote their business, attract new customers, and increase visibility within the community.
“Sometimes the best Chamber benefits are the ones that members may not realize are right at their fingertips,” said Leah Skinner, CEO of the Santa Fe Springs Chamber of Commerce. “The Member-to-Member Discount Program is a great example. Members can save money, support fellow Chamber businesses, and use the same platform to promote their own products and services.”
How It Works
Using the Member Information Center, Chamber members can:

• Browse offers from other Chamber members.
• Create their own discounts or special offers for fellow Chamber members.
• Promote offers to the public, helping reach potential customers beyond the Chamber membership.
• Support fellow Chamber businesses by taking advantage of member discounts and doing business locally.

The Chamber encourages members to log into their Member Information Center and explore the available offers. Members who have products or services they would like to promote are also encouraged to create an offer and take advantage of this often-overlooked membership benefit.
The “Membership 101” series will continue to highlight the programs, services, resources, and opportunities available to Santa Fe Springs Chamber members. The goal is simple: to make sure members know what is included with their membership and are taking full advantage of the value the Chamber provides.
