Small Business Workshop
Hosted by Assemblymember Ian Calderon and Presented by Covered California & California Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development
Chris Patton, Pinnacle Claims Management Inc.’s Vice President of SHOP Sales & Agent Management for Covered California will focus on providing small businesses with important information on health care options for their employees as well as benefits and qualifications for purchasing coverage through Covered California for Small Business. The presentation will also provide small businesses with updates set to take place in 2016.

GO-Biz serves as California’s single point of contact for economic development and job creation efforts, offering a range of services to business owners including: attraction, retention, and expansion services, permit streamlining and clearing of regulatory hurdles, and assistance with state government. The presentation will provide an overview of key small business initiatives and programs managed by the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development such as the California Competes Tax Credit Program, Cal-Bis, and Visit California, among many others.
