Securitas Presents: Situational Awareness & Homeless Seminar
The impact of the growing homeless population in our community continues to be a major challenge and directly affects the safety of commercial and residential properties. According to the Los Angeles County Homeless Services Authority, nearly 60,000 people live without permanent shelter on a given night in LA County. Securitas will host a Situational Awareness & Homeless Seminar designed to highlight regulations, strategies, and solutions to maintain safety.
Securitas is proud to present this roundtable discussion, led by Basim Abu-Hamid. Basim serves as a Global Emergency Response Team Manager for Securitas. He has provided security consulting and has conducted training on various security related topics such as terrorism, situational awareness, active shooter, tactical communication, hostage negotiation, kidnap prevention, disaster preparedness and tactical emergency medicine.
The event is free to attend and will take place on Thursday November 7, 2019 from 10am-Noon at the Porsche Experience Center in Carson, CA. Please click here to register: https://securitas-situational-awareness-homeless-seminar.eventbrite.com
