For a Safer Workplace
This training will provide hands-on first aid training consistent with OSHA guidelines, plus CPR training and information on the operation and role of AEDs in emergency cardiac care. Combining lecture, video demonstrations and hands-on manikin training this course teaches participants to:
- Recognize breathing and cardiac emergencies that call for CPR
- Perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies
- Avoid blood borne pathogen exposure
- Learn how to operate an Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
- Meets OSHA First Aid Guidelines
American Red Cross certified instructors will conduct the training and each participant, completing the course, will receive a First Aid Certificate (2 years) and an Adult CPR /AED Certificate (2 year).
The class is limited to the first 36 participants. Each participant will receive official American Red Cross life saving materials to keep for future review.
