Multiple new laws went into effect this year in response to the #MeToo movement, expanding the current state law requirement for training to all employers with five or more employees. Employers must provide at least two hours of sexual harassment training and education to all supervisors and at least one hour of sexual harassment training to all non-supervisory employees.
The Santa Fe Springs Chamber has partnered with Paul Fleck, partner with Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo to provide a supervisory training course which satisfies all new training requirements and offers guidance and practical examples on the federal and state statutory provisions concerning the prohibition, prevention, correction, and remedying of sexual harassment in the workplace. This session also covers the mandated discussion of abusive conduct (anti-bullying) and the prevention of harassment based on gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.
Register today to satisfy your training obligation.
