The NEW Hazard Communication System

Exposure to hazardous chemicals is one of the most serious threats facing American workers today. The Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) is now aligned with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). This update will provide a common and coherent approach to classifying chemicals and communicating hazard information on labels and safety data sheets. In order for that common and coherent approach to happen, will require modifications to the way you report, label, and train your employees. If you have at least one employee and one classified hazardous chemical, this new standard applies to you.
