Tour of the Los Angeles County EMS "Warehouse"
Los Angeles County has one of the largest Emergency Medical Systems (EMS) in the nation and, as one of the first to be developed, is known nationally and worldwide as a leader in the field of pre-hospital care.
Located in Santa Fe Springs, they are responsible for coordinating the county's emergency medical services system includinghospitals, fire departments, and ambulance companies. The warehouse contains much of the emergency equipment, as well as state of the art mobile medical units and vehicles used in a disaster.
And in an effort to communicate timely and relevant, safety and emergency preparedness-related information to the Santa Fe Springs business community we will have agency reports from:
