Mentor trip to Huntington Library & Gardens
Mentors and Students will meet at Santa Fe High School and board buses which will take them to San Marino to spend the afternoon touring The Huntington.
The Huntington was founded in 1919 by Henry E. Huntington, an exceptional businessman who built a financial empire that included railroad companies, utilities and real estate holdings in Southern California. He also had a special interest in books, art and gardens and established one of the finest research libraries in the world, a splendid art collection and created an array of botanical gardens.
This opportunity was made possible through "The Latham Grant" which was established in 2011 in honor of former City Manager, Fred Latham.
