The Incident Command System is a standardized management tool for meeting the demands of small or large emergency situations. It represents "best practices" and has become the standard for emergency management across the country. It may be used for planned events, natural disasters, and acts of terrorism and is a key feature of the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
ICS is used by all levels of government—Federal, State, and Local, as well as by many private-sector and nongovernmental organizations like the Santa Fe Springs BEPN.
Everyone is welcome to attend this free training and learn more about ICS and the BEPN. For more information, contact Christy Lindsay at 562/ 944-1616 or Lindsay@sfschamber.com
