DESCRIPTION:FIRST AID / CPR and AED TRAINING FOR A SAFER WORKPLACE  This training will provide hands-on first aid training consistent with OSHA guidelines\, plus CPR training and information on the operation and role of AEDs in emergency cardiac care. Combining lecture\, video demonstrations and hands-on manikin training this course teaches participants to:Recognize breathing and cardiac emergencies that call for CPRPerform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergenciesAvoid blood borne pathogen exposureLearn how to operate an Automated External Defibrillation (AED)Meets OSHA First Aid Guidelines American Red Cross certified instructors will conduct the training and each participant\, completing the course\, will receive a First Aid Certificate (3 years) and an Adult CPR /AED Certificate (1 year). The class is limited to the first 36 participants. Each participant will receive official American Red Cross life saving materials to keep for future review.
