DESCRIPTION:The Responsible Alcohol Beverage Sales Training (also known as RBS or LEADS Training) is a training for all alcohol retailers and their staff. Participants will learn how to Understand state laws and regulations relevant to off-sale alcohol retailers (e.g\, markets\, gas stations\, or liquor/convenience stores). Identify underage customers and prevent alcohol sales to minors. Intervene quickly to prevent potential problem situations. Recognize the importance of verifying age with identification for all customers who appear to be under 30 years old. Protect your business from the risks of administrative\, civil and criminal liability that comes from not knowing the laws and regulations related to the sale of alcoholic beverages. Additional information: RBS is a training approved by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC). If you recently received a citation from ABC\, ask ABC about participating in RBS training as a corrective action tool. SPIRITT Family Services is on the ABC list of RBS training providers.
