DESCRIPTION:First Aid with CPR & AED Training\n\n	 \n\n	 This training will provide hands-on first aid training consistent with OSHA guidelines\, plus Adult CPR training and information on the operation and role of AEDs in emergency cardiac care. This course will cover key changes reflecting the new science from the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines. Combining lecture\, video demonstrations\, and hands-on manikin training this course teaches participants to:\n\n	\n		\n			Recognize breathing and cardiac emergencies that call for CPR\n		\n			Perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies\n		\n			Avoid blood borne pathogen exposure\n		\n			Learn how to operate an Automated External Defibrillation device (AED)\n		\n			Meets OSHA guidelines\n	\n	An American Heart Association instructor will conduct the training and each participant\, completing the course\, will receive a ?First Aid\, CPR/AED? certificate card (good for 2 years). Official American Heart Association course materials will be provided for student use.\n\n	\n\n	The class is limited to the first 15 participants.
