The Destiny Derby which will be held at Santa Anita Park will allow people to dress up\, bid on silent auction items\, eat a delicious dinner and have a good time all while raising money to benefit the Chamber's youth programs.\n\n\n\nThis year's event\, "The Destiny Derby" will be a festive evening. There will be a hat contest where "Derby Hats" and "Bow Ties" will be judged on creativity and originality. In addition to games\, dinner\, dancing and the "Springs Julep" (our version of the traditional mint julep)\, there will be music provided by the EV Trio. Guests will also be able to bid on more than 50 silent auction items including tickets to next season's "Dancing with the Stars"\, an afternoon of sailing\, a Kindle\, golf foursomes\, several getaway packages\, tickets to sporting events\, wine baskets and more. Highlighting the evening will be the "Derby Drawing" where one lucky individual will win $500. (Tickets are $5.00 each or 6 for $25 and can be purchased at the Chamber office or through Ambassadors - winner need not be present).\n\n\n\nIt may not be Churchill Downs\, but the "Destiny Derby" will be an event not to miss.
