About Us

SPIRITT's mission is to empower families, improve health and well-being, and strengthen communities. SPIRITT's vision is of an inclusive community in which every person with a serious health problem, emotional disorder and/or addictive disease will have access to the programs and services necessary to live healthy and productive lives free from abuse, hopeful for the future and empowered to pursue individual and family well-being. SPIRITT provides a critical range of services using an adaptable approach that addresses our community's ever-changing needs. We provide family-focused education, case management, support, and counseling to over 7500 individuals annually at five family centers, schools and in family homes. SPIRITT uses an array of evidence-based strategies in working with individuals who have experience trauma, with mental health, substance abuse disorders, or co-occurring disorders. Voluntary prevention, early intervention, and treatment services are offered to pregnant women, families with children 5 and younger, stressed families(parents) with minor children/youth.
