Planning is Ongoing for the Proposed Transit Project in Your Community
In January 2010, Metro began preparing the Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (Draft EIS/EIR) for the Eastside Transit Corridor Phase 2 Project. Over 300 people attended the scoping meetings held in February 2010 and over 500 public comments were received.
What We Heard and What’s Being Planned
You’re invited to attend a project update meeting in September to hear about input Metro received during scoping, on-going station planning efforts and an update on the next steps for the technical work to be completed. Please plan on attending the meeting that is most convenient for you. Content presented during both meetings will be the same. If you have never attended a project meeting, a 30-minute open house session is being held for a project orientation.
